Soleram Team of Fortune Indonesia: We're Excited and Proud to Have the Chance to Handle the TVC of Asian Games 2018

berut1-minSoleram Team of Fortune Indonesia is honored to be directly appointed by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), which oversees all the Olympic sports in Asia, to create the television commercials for the Asian Games 2018 to be held in Indonesia. Soleram is trusted with two television commercials at once comprising the version that will air in Indonesia and the one that will air throughout Asia, and in some countries in America and Europe.

The excitement has even begun since the moment we were announced to handle this project. We have been so enthusiastic even since before we started the process. It can be said that this is a once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity, given that the Asian Games will be held again in Indonesia in the next 50 years,” added Gregorius Murdianto (Creative Group Head) who handles this project.

Working with a tight timeline, two Production Houses, and two different Directors is the challenge facing this project. Soleram team admitted that the key to success of this project relies on the good cooperation and communication. The entire process from the making and finalizing the concept, the filming process, to the editing process, takes two months. The filming was done in Yogyakarta, Palembang, Jakarta, and the surrounding area, and involved some famous athletes including Taufik Hidayat and I Gede Siman Sudartawa.

Indonesian Version: “Reflection of Indonesia”

It reflects the enthusiasm of Indonesian people from all walks of life in welcoming the Asian Games in Indonesia, one of the largest sports events in Asia. Indonesia once again hosts the Asian Games after hosting the last time decades ago in 1962. Sport is able to unite all Indonesian people in the city and the countryside in the same euphoria.

Asian Version: “Color of Asia”

The color here is visualized through colorful powder that showcases the cultural diversity of Asian countries. Through the combination of colored powder and visual sports movements with the rhythm of the typical percussion instruments of each country, the TVC is delivering the message that diversity is the energy that unites Asia.

The hard work that Soleram team put in creating these two television commercials was rewarded with an incredible appreciation from OCA. “Once the preview was completed, they instantly applauded and thanked us for the great result. It’s very relieving when the client is satisfied with our work,” said Claudia Ananda Nauli (Senior Account Manager, Soleram).

Besides handling the two Asian Games television commercials, Soleram team is currently preparing to propose the program of integrated campaigns including activation, digital, and media campaigns. “So far we only perform media buying on television, but now we are coordinating and proposing for the commercials to also air on Cinema,” stated Claudia.
