Social Media as One of Effective Communication Platforms

“Social media today can be likened to the five senses. Through social media we can feel everything as if it is very close to us.” Such quotation is taken from the opening of Knowledge Sharing which this time took the topic of social media in advertising presented by Tri Budhi of DId team.

socmed1-300x200The senses mentioned here connote to use social media to “see” as well as utilize the existing opportunities, not only to “touch” social media but also to amplify them with other technologies, to “feel” whether the communication is delivered appropriately through the feedback we get from social media, to “smell” whether it needs “perfume” to be better than the previous, and to “hear” what the audience has grasped of all the efforts made. “Exciting. This kind of sharing session should be held regularly. May be next time there will be a further discussion on its practice in the applications such as the campaigns on Instagram, Snapchat or ask.fm,” said Githa Lestari (copy writer, DId) -one of the participants.
