FORU General Meeting of Shareholders 2018 Changes the Composition of the Board of Directors

Jakarta, April 27, 2018 – The restructuring of Fortune Group that has been started since 2016 is constantly carried out until 2018. In the Annual General Meeting held today on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Galaktika Building, Ragunan, South Jakarta, the shareholders approved the change of the Board of Directors.

It is expected that, with this change, the restructuring process that has been implemented so far will further enhance the capacity, capability, and performance of Fortune Group in the future.

The new composition of Fortune Group Board of Directors is:
President Director: AG Edhi Bawono
Director: MD Menuk Sudaryanti

Independent Director: John Guntar Sebayang

The composition of the Board of Commissioners remains the same, as follows:

President Commissioner: Satrio

Independent Commissioner: Yazirwan Uyun

The restructuring of Fortune Group performed since 2016 is a strategic move that Fortune Group has chosen to overcome the future challenges and is the greatest internal reformation within the last ten years that includes the organization and the human resources.

With the restructuring of the organization, in 2017, Fortune Group’s gross profit increased by nearly 42,000 percent compared to 2016. The restructuring of the human resources also managed to contribute to a decline in Fortune Group’s operating expenses by more than 15 percent compared to 2016.

“With the restructuring, we are optimistic that we can enforce, advance, and grow to boost the company’s performance in 2018,” said Satrio, President Commissioner of FORU. Satrio also revealed that the restructuring that has taken place throughout 2016 to 2017 has had an impact on improving the company’s productivity. “With the ongoing restructuring, Fortune Group will be ahead in facing the current challenges,” he concluded.

In 2017, Fortune Group recorded revenues of more than Rp300 billion. The advertising services segment as the main contributor recorded revenues of more than Rp271 billion and the Public Relations (PR) segment posted revenues of more than Rp29 billion.

In terms of recognition of Fortune Group’s human resources, numerous awards are once again earned in 2017 including the best awards from the Mix Award for The Best Social Campaign category, The Best PR Marketing Program, The Best Social PR Program, The Most Experiental Brand Activation and Best of the Best for the Creative PR Program category. Next, other awards won are two Silvers for the Category of Print Ad Craft in Citra Pariwara and in Pinasthika, 3 Silvers And 1 Bronze for the Category of Bawana | Print | Product & Service Print Ad, and also 2 Silvers and 1 Bronze For the Category of Bawana | Outdoors | Billboard & Street Posters And 1 Silver For Craftmanship Category | Poster | Digital Imaging.

These awards certainly act as the fuel for Fortune Group to increasingly fire up the creativity and the spirit of innovation to always be ahead.
