Tuesday, February 13, 2018 – Fortune Group held Kick Off Meeting at the Ballroom of Hotel Amaroossa Cosmo Jakarta. The Kick Off Meeting of Fortune Group 2018 is held to align the vision and spirit of Fortuners in conquering the year 2018. Innovaction, which means innovative and action, is the spirit that Fortune group has conceived in the face of all the challenges in 2018.

Along with all Fortuners, the event was also attended by Aris Boediharjo as President Director, MD Menuk Sudaryanti as Director, John Guntar Sebayang as Independent Director of Fortune Group, and Indra Christanto as the Commissioner (Affiliation). The Independent Commissioner of Fortune Group, Yazirwan Uyun, also attended and gave his speech and support to all Fortuners in this Kick Off Meeting event.

Representatives from Rajawali Corpora also attended this event, namely Raphael Adhi Santosa Kodrata as Audit Committee, Melanie Tolentino Oteyza as Head of Governance and Internal Audit of Rajawali Corpora, and Roy Iman Wirahardja as Director of Compliance and Performance Management of Rajawali Corpora who also presented materials regarding Corporate Governance.

The Kick Off Meeting was opened with remarks from Aris Boedihardjo in retrospect of Fortune Group’s journey from 1970 until today. The Financial Highlights from Menuk Sudaryanti summarized Fortune Group’s financial activities over the last four years (2014-2017) and financial targets in 2018. “We cannot innovate if we stay inside our comfort zone,” said Edhi Bawono, Managing Director of Fortune Group, to open the session of introduction and presentation of Innovation 2018 from Business Unit Directors of five business segments owned by Fortune Group.

The Kick Off Meeting becomes more special with the presence of Rene Suhardono, a public speaker who is also a book author and a social entrepreneur. “How To Success” is the topic that Rene delivered that day. “Do not try to be creative but try to be useful” is one of the statements that Rene pointed out.

In the Kick Off Meeting, Fortune Group always plays a group game to acquaint them with one another as well as to hone the teamwork skills of Fortuners who comes from various divisions. The theme of the group game is Innovaction Laboratory, the mission of which is to create a potion and a weapon to conquer the challenges in 2018 such as clients who have little trust, competitors, and industry development. Each group then presented their potion and weapon along with the strategies, innovations, and solutions. The jury panel consisting of FORU’s board of directors decided Group 9 as The Best Potion Scientist Team and Group 2 as The Best Advance Weapon Researcher Team.

“It was a great meeting and I hope the complete presentation of financial achievements and target will convince Fortuners that this is all true and real. Hopefully, the target will further spur us to play harder and produce more fantastic works,” said Samuel Sekhar, Business Unit Director of Navya.

The event was closed with a countdown celebration to welcome Innovaction, the spirit of 2018, and was greeted with applause from Fortuners. Fortune Group will continue to innovate and strengthen its business line. With the support of the board of commissioners, all Fortuners are confident of achieving greater growth this year and the coming years.
