The presence of the Lord Jesus means the presence of love in our lives. This year Fortune Group celebrates Christmas by sharing love with the children at Desa Putera Orphanage in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta in the event titled Sharing the Love of Christmas. The event took place on Friday, January 13, 2018. It was attended by Menuk Sudaryanti as the Board of Directors of Fortune Group, Edy Bawono as Chief Operational Officer, Ati Muchtar as President Director of Fortune PR, Thomas Franky as Managing Director of Fortune PR, and also some representatives of Fortuners.

Edy Bawono and Menuk Sudaryanti opened the event by introducing Fortune Group to Desa Putera orphanage children. It was then followed by having lunch with 88 children from elementary school to college in the orphanage. They celebrated the event very solemnly with prayers and praises. Hosted by Lusida and David, the event got livelier when Fortuners were involved to play with the kids.

On this occasion, Fortune Group and Fortuners donate gently worn clothes, snacks, school supplies, shoes, and a cash of ten million rupiahs. “May the love we share be well received, inspire, and bring them happiness. Hopefully, they enjoy the event and I hope this kind of event can be done not only on Christmas but also regularly just like what Fortune Group does with the children of the PAUDs that Sanggar Fortune supports. We also hope to continue the program because we have the company social responsibility to share love with the neighboring community,” said Thomas Franky, Managing Director of Fortune PR, who is also the coordinator of the event Sharing the Love of Christmas. The event was closed by distributing the donation to Desa Putera orphanage children and taking group photos.
