Fortune Group Officially Applies Clean Desk Policy
After more than two weeks of notification, Fortune Group started to apply the clean desk policy by the end of September 2017. Through the implementation of this policy, Fortune Group urges all Fortuners not to leave any items on their desks when they leave the office except the telephone as the office asset.
On the dissemination held in Bincang Sore on Thursday 14 September 2017, Vicky Fitraza Kosmaya (HCD & GA Manager) said that the clean desk policy is the first step towards mobile and flexible working space where Fortuners do not have the permanent desk or workspace so that the work atmosphere will be more dynamic.
Titled Tidy Desk Tidy Mind, Vicky, in his presentation, also conveyed some benefits Fortuners can get from the implementation of this policy, among others, to familiarize Fortuners to be neat and orderly, increase focus, reduce stress, and make working time more effective.
In addition to the call for not leaving personal items on the desk upon leaving the office, this policy also applies the rules for not eating at their desk, be it heavy meals or snacks.
