Sanggar Fortune officially announced PAUD (Nursery School) Ragunan as an independent PAUD on June 17, 2014. The inauguration began with the speech of the Head of PAUD Ragunan, Sarwadi, before the representatives of Sanggar Fortune and the nursery students. Afterwards, a representative of Sanggar Fortune gave a speech.

Oscar Prajnaphalla as FORU Corporate Communications Manager said that eventhough funding is no longer provided for PAUD Ragunan, good relationship must be maintained. Furthermore, opportunities are also still open for teachers of PAUD Ragunan to participate in personal development events and skills trainings.

“The nursery teachers will still be invited to attend various events organized by Sanggar Fortune,” said Oscar.

PAUD Ragunan is considered independent based on its self-support management ability. This PAUD is also considered to have been able to run the learning system creatively and continuously. Previously, Sanggar Fortune had provided guidance for PAUD Ragunan for two years as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

Within two years, Sanggar Fortune provided not only financial support for PAUD Ragunan but also other form of support, for instance, Fortuners helped to teach the students in the nursery school. Two Fortuners regularly taught the planned lesson in an hour. The development of the school was monitored monthly by Gita Galantari as FORU Corporate Communications Officer. Sanggar Fortune is still conducting similar CSR activities as those done in this school at other nursery schools, i.e. one school in Lenteng Agung and three schools in Cilandak Timur.

“Hopefully, this nursery school can grow bigger and better in quality in the future,” said Oscar.

The event was then closed by presenting packages from Sanggar Fortune to the students of PAUD Ragunan. Symbolically, Sanggar Fortune representative also put a sash saying ‘Sanggar Fortune Mandiri’ on the Head of PAUD.

“Thank you for the support you have given. We will continue the work on our own,” said Sarwadi as the Head of PAUD Ragunan.
