Pingpong Winners
Fortune Group celebrated the 72nd Independence Day of RI with the spirit of working together themed #FortuneMerdeka. Various kinds of Independence Day traditional competitions were held, ranging from ping pong tournaments, video and photo contest, tumpeng (cone-shaped rice) decoration contest with Independence Day theme, kerupuk (cracker) eating competition, rubber relay race, and the best red-and-white themed costumes. The rage of excitement and enthusiasm of Fortuners was radiated when participating in the various competitions at the Independence Day Party. The atmosphere of the office felt livelier in welcoming and celebrating the Independence Day together.
Pingpong mixed doubles preliminary rounds that took place on August 14-16  created boisterous cheers from Fortuners who were watching and cheering. Being partnered with players randomly chosen by the committee demanded the participants of pingpong tournament to get to know each other and work with their respective partners. The teams comprising Aris Boediharjo & Fadlan and Karnadi & Haidar managed to qualify for the final after beating 14 other teams in the preliminary round.
The peak of the Independence Day Party was held on Friday, August 18, 2017 on the 4th floor of Galaktika Building which has been decorated with various red and white themed attributes. Fortuners coming to the party in the red-and-white-themed dress code created even more festive atmosphere. The peak of the Independence Day event began with singing the Independence Day songs together and followed by the final round of ping pong tournament held simultaneously with tumpeng decoration competition with Independence theme.
Tumpeng decoration competition was participated by 5 teams consisting of a maximum of 10 people each. The participating teams included Activator & Soleram team, Fortune PR, Services, Communication, and Touchpoint. The tumpeng was decorated with various complementary side dishes in various forms with creative concept created by each team within one hour.

After the tumpeng decoration competition and the ping pong final were finished, various other traditional competitions were held. The kerupuk eating competition was held in 2 rounds with five participants in each round. While the straw and rubber band relay race was participated by four teams of four people. The cheers and laughter from Fortuners as the supporters did not recede until the competition was over.
The whole event was concluded with the announcement of the winners of the competition and the distribution of prizes followed by eating tumpeng meal. In addition to fostering the spirit of Independence Day, Independence Day Party #FortuneMerdeka also becomes an internal event to strengthen engagement and increase the happiness of Fortuners.
