The exponential growth of internet world today has changed the consumer behavior in Indonesia. The market is getting closer to the digital world, just as consumers are getting closely connected to one another. The media has experienced a drastic change with the presence of social media (SocMed) that has brought new colors to the marketing world. By utilizing SocMed channels such as Twitter or Facebook, it is relatively easy for a brand to do promotion or reach the target market of its products. Promoting through social networks has a number of advantages for brand owners, such as being more economical and effective. In addition, promotion can be done through viral marketing so that prospective customers can directly see it.

Then, gradually conduct measurement which is very useful to know the effectiveness of the SocMed tools made and also to know the response to the brand, in order to get the expected result. With this measurement, the company is able to track the fluctuation of the brand strength. Consumers who give positive mentions are satisfied and loyal customers. That is why they voluntarily give positive viral effect to the brand.
Finally, building a strong brand cannot be done solely through social media. The brand must have its own differentiation considering how tight the competition is at this moment. The differentiation should be built by displaying the essence of the brand in an interesting way through social media as the tool that can accelerate and simplify the marketing path of the brand.
