For Dona (Fortune Donation) was held to entertain the entire Fortuners with music, as well as to pamper Fortuners’ palate with a variety of delicious snacks ranging from Swedish Meatball, Honey Potato, Cheese sticks, Spaghetti, Bubur Sumsum, Es Sirup Tjampolay, pudding, etc. All these tasty foods are the creations of Fortune’s chefs participating to donate either some or all of their profits.
The donation collected will be given entirely for the establishment of Warung Senang Sanggar Fortune. In addition to the various foods, the donated collectible items of the directors and commissioners also became the target of Fortuners. Some items were auctioned, and some others were traded. The collectible items were among others various veils, clothes, necklaces, bags, shoes, and Harley Davidson clothing collection.
The auction hosted by Esvy (Corporate Communications, Fortune Indonesia) and Kristo (PR Consultant, Headline – Fortune PR) became boisterous as Fortuners competed to get the desired items. Fortuners seemed to really enjoy the event. Some were walking here and there tasting the foods, some enjoying the karaoke, and some others busy eyeing auction items.
“For Dona yesterday was exciting; the goal of the fundraising was also effective in helping Sanggar Fortune. I bought a Sofia bag being auctioned for my little girl, she happens to love the bag. This event must be held more often, and for the next For Dona, the items sold must be multiplied so it will be merrier.” said Gugun Gunawan, Creative – Fortune Indonesia.
“The event was too short; it should be held until night! I think for the next event, For Dona should be publicized more aggressively and the food booths should be multiplied.” said Ismaya Andini, Personal Assistant CEO -Fortune Indonesia.
The establishment of Warung Senang Sanggar Fortune will begin in March 2016. This warung (shop) is intended to empower mothers, especially teachers and parents of Sanggar Fortune. It will also provide healthy snacks for Indonesian children. This warung will sell a variety of healthy foods with its flagship products of green noodles and carrot pineapple drink. All the foods sold are free from sweeteners, preservatives, and artificial coloring.
