Three Senior Fortuners Retired 

The big family of FORU began the month of July this year with a farewell. After serving for more than two decades, three senior Fortuners (employees) are officially retired. They are Matsari Dudung from Pegasus team of Fortune Indonesia (Senior Graphic Design), Samin and Mustari, the General Affairs Officer of FACTinaction team (FACT). On July 8, 2013, a farewell party was held before lunch as an expression of gratitude for their dedication to the company. The event  taking place in Agus Salim room, Gedung Galaktika was attended by Miranty Abidin (FORU Commissioner ), Muljadi Sulaeman (FORU Director), Yuliana Leonarda  (FORU Finance Director), Nur Rochim Achmad (FORU Associate HCD Director ), Indira Abidin (FORU Corporate Secretary), Aris Budihardjo (Fortune Indonesia CEO), business unit leaders, and Fortuners.

Not like other farewell parties, sadness did not emanate from the face of the Fortuners who are attending the event.  Instead, the event was filled with warmth and laughter especially when a special video from FORU was played. When watching glimpses of photos of Dudung, Samin, and Mustari in a number of occasions in various bygone eras, laughter immediately filled the room!

In his speech, Muljadi expressed his gratitude for the loyalty, integrity, and hard work that Dudung, Samin, and Mustari have dedicated. “It is an honor and delight to enjoy time together with you all. FORU can survive and thrive to this day because of your contribution. We believe, what you have sown in the company will bear fruit in the future,” said Muljadi.

Being a part of FORU big family for 31 years, Dudung could hardly express his impressions. “Thanks to Mr. Indra Abidin, who for me, is the father of Indonesian advertising. Hopefully, FORU will be more successful and able to solve problems without creating problems, “said Kang Dudung, Dudung’s nickname, quoting one of the slogans of FORU clients which soon greeted by all Fortuners’ laughter.

Mustari also expressed his gratitude to FORU. So far, Ari, his nickname, claimed to love working there because of the strong kinship that existed among the Fortuners as well as the attention given by the company to Ari’s family. “My friends here are like my own family. In FORU, bosses and subordinates can even mingle indiscriminately,” Ari said.  “Hopefully, the juniors can learn from our experiences and ignore the bad things they see in us,” added the man who joined FORU in 1989.

Samin, represented by his wife, Rusmini, also expressed his gratitude to be a part of FORU. “Thank you so much, FORU. This company has given a lot of support and help for our family. Because of FORU’s help, we could give birth to our twin daughters and even we are able to bring them up to this day,” said Rusmini. Samin has become a Fortuner for 22 years.

After the delivery of speech and impressions, the event was closed by having lunch together. While enjoying the meal, the three of them said that they have no specific plans after retiring from the company. Yet the first to do is enjoying their break time of work routine, they said.

Whatever the plan will be, hopefully the three beloved Fortuners will always be under God’s protection and granted with continuous blessings and prosperity.  Once Fortuners, always be Fortuners…
