FORU called a General Meeting of Shareholders 2016 on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Galaktika Building on the 4th Floor. In the AGM, FORU announced the increase in Operating Revenue amounted to 6.82% at IDR 431, 9 billion in 2015 from IDR 404, 32 billion in 2014. “FORU’s Comprehensive Income also grew 6.32% at IDR 3.66 billion from IDR 3, 44 billion in 2014,” said Yuliana Leonarda as FORU Director. FORU AGM 2016 also resolved the appointment of Muljadi Sulaeman as FORU Independent Commissioner replacing Sebastianus Harry Wiguna.
Of the three business segments run by FORU, Advertising Services was the largest contributor to FORU total revenues and accounted for 8.86% of revenue growth at IDR 401, 47 billion in 2015 from IDR 368, 81 billion in 2014. This achievement is mainly due to the revenue increase in the segments of Television Media, Print Media, Digital Media, and Radio Media from those in 2014 respectively at 10.35%, 60.56%, 10.45% and 5.27%.
“This is a remarkable achievement for FORU. Amid the ongoing global economic slowdown and the national advertising industry which only grew 2% in 2015, FORU still managed to maintain positive business growth,” said Aris Boediharjo, Director of FORU. The achievement of FORU as an entity with superior capabilities is also punctuated with 12 awards achieved throughout 2015.
