Fortune Group once again organized the annual fast-breaking dinner for all Fortuners on Friday, June 16, 2017. Located in Galaktika Building, on the 4th floor, this year’s fast-breaking dinner was attended by Aris Boediharjo and Menuk Sudaryanti as Fortune Group’s Directors as well as Miranty Abidin as the Founder of Fortune PR. 

The event was opened by reciting the holy verses of Quran by Mochamad Kurniawan followed by its translation by Gita Galantari. The next agenda is the spiritual messages delivered by Ustadz Geis Assegaf LC with the theme of The Way Back to God.

He advised all Fortuners to always remember Allah in everything they do. We should always know that God is watching over us because no deed escapes His watch and reward. “If all actions are intended for God then automatically all our actions are to please Allah SWT,” he said.

After half an hour solemnly listening to the spiritual messages, the call for maghrib prayer was heard. Ustadz Geis ended his lecture by praying together.

Fast-breaking dinner together this year carried a different nuance which is the middle eastern style. Middle Eastern foods were served ranging from kebuli rice, to Arabic salad, to the snacks of beef samosas and kebabs. The kebuli rice is placed into several containers, each of which can be enjoyed by up to ten people. Enjoying kebuli rice together from the same container managed to make this year’s fast-breaking dinner warmer and have stronger sense of togetherness. “So exciting, the sense of togetherness is felt stronger because we eat from the same tray, together, not from an individual box as usual.
