Tips To Stay Fresh At Work During Fasting

Usually after suhoor, I get used to not sleeping again. After that, I go to the office earlier and during Ramadan I usually arrive at the office at 7 am. If I feel tired, I usually rest and nap even if it’s only for five minutes. Moreover, I try to focus on my work so I can ignore thirst and hunger during fasting.

Instead of eating suhoor, I choose to have dinner at 10:00 to 11:00 at night. Then I can sleep as usual and wake up at dawn prayer time. I also do not forget to drink more water, about 3 to 4 liters of water a day.

My tip to stay fresh at work during fasting is to drink coffee at suhoor. Afterwards, be persistent!

The tips are simple. I have enough sleep for at least six hours a day, and take vitamin C at suhoor. I also consume more vegetables because they contain a lot of vitamins and fiber.

I always get used to eating high-fiber foods such as fruits and vegetables at suhoor time. If I do not have any of them, I take food supplement. Vitamins, fruits and vegetables are very influential to support my work productivity during fasting. To withstand hunger during fasting, I usually engage myself in work so I do not feel hungry.
