Indira Abidin Titled Indonesia Future Business Leader 2013
Indonesia Best Business Leader Award from SWA Magazine
FORU has just got a special gift. The Director, Indra Abidin, is included in the list of Indonesia Best CEO of 2013 from one of the country’s leading business magazine, SWA. On the awards night held on May 13, 2013 at Shangri-la Hotel, Jakarta, Indra who was represented by his wife, Miranty Abidin, took home the title of Special Achievement of Leadership 2013.
The title was awarded to Indra because of his success in implementing the four pillars of good leadership, namely pathfinding, aligning, empowering, and modeling.
“This achievement is rooted from the concept of business based on the spirit of togetherness and harmony that is unique, which makes us different from others. Our company was built by a passion to give ideas beyond what is imagined, technology beyond the limit of possibilities, and entrepreneurship that goes beyond expectations. It becomes an adhesive of our business culture over the years, even up to the next a hundred year,” said Indra .
On the awards night, Indra was not the only one to win the title. Indira Abidin, the Managing Director of Fortune PR, was also successfully titled Indonesia Future Business Leader (IFBL) 2013 for the category of medium scale enterprise.
In the award, the name of Indra was aligned with other national well-known business leaders. In the ranks of the Top Five Best CEO, the name of Emirsyah Satar (President & CEO of Garuda Indonesia) appeared as the first rank, followed by Djoko Pranoto (President Director of United Tractors Tbk.), Harry Sutanto (President Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV), RJ Lino (President Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II), and Martinus Subandi Sinarya (CEO of Kirana Megatara).

In collaboration with IPSOS and Dunamis, Indonesia Best CEO 2013 selection process is aimed to provide an assessment of the quality of the leadership of a CEO. This event paves the way for the people closest to the leaders who might be reluctant to give judgment, the thought that had not been revealed.
The selection process began with screening the candidates based on corporate performance criteria, GCG aspects, and commitment to environmental sustainability. Candidates should at least be in a position of senior manager aging not more than 50 years. For the award of Indonesia Best CEO 2013, the process was followed by a survey to the companies of each respective participant by using Four Roles of Leadership method, also the aspects of commitment and motivation of employees.
