Fortune Indonesia Snatched the Runner Up Position for ‘The Best Creative Agency of the Year’

Earned Three Bronze and Seven Finalists in Pinasthika Creativestival 2012

In the Pinasthika Creativestival 2012, Fortune has successfully won the Runner Up position as The Best Creative Agency of the Year. This achievement is successfully obtained by the three bronze and seven finalist positions during creative competitions for Indonesian, announced on November 3, 2012, at Hotel Melia Purosani, Yogyakarta.

Pinasthika Creativestival 2012 is an event to celebrate the creativity of local and national agencies throughout Indonesia which is organized by Persatuan Perusahaan Periklanan Indonesia (P3I), Yogyakarta (DIY) Committee, in cooperation with Kedaulatan Rakyat daily newspaper, and supported by P3I Center. This year is the 13th year for Pinasthika and it has been put into the national agenda of the Ministry of Commerce.
Out of the 20 entries from the total 33 categories that were joined, Fortune successful won three bronzes in Craftmanship category for print ad, poster, and TVC. Seven other categories managed to be won as well, namely, supporting outdoor media, advertising campaigns, print ad digital imaging, digital imaging posters, poster, graphic design, as well as print ads for health products, medicines, personal care, clothing, and accessories.
Passion Patrol as the team leader of Fortune for Pinasthika expressed their happiness. The achievement of runner-up position brought fresh air for Fortune creative team after four years in such ‘famine’ to be able to achieve an award. Moreover, the amount of works that were received this year is fairly fantastic. It almost reached a thousand.

Lots of ‘hands’ has taken part in our process to achieve these awards,” said Lembu Wiworo Jati, creative director of Passion Patrol. “We actually feel even more fortunate because the team is still newly formed for one year. To attend such prestigious event, this step still seems to be too early, “said Lembu.
Lembu explained that the preparation to join Pinasthika had been started since January 2012, initialized by brainstorming with his teammates. The process of executions was carried out starting in March 2012. Certainly, they often encountered challenges such as too many pitching schedules, not enough number of teams that participates, to the works that sparked controversy. “We used all of them as a part of the learning process. Winning or losing is the bonus; it is the process that is such a valuable experience for us in facing the future,” said Lembu. “This is just the beginning. Next year we should be optimistically confident to go up to the podium,” he concluded.
Display-Iklan-Poster-di-Pinasthika-2012Grace Surya, a marketing communications manager of Fortune Indonesia, is no less enthusiastic. “This success will certainly be good for Fortune’s image and it will solidify our position in front of our clients. Fortune has been well established since 1970 and we are actually getting younger each year in terms of creativity,” he said.
The next target of Fortune Indonesia is Citra Pariwara 2012, a prestigious advertising competition for national and multinational agencies. “We ask for prayers and supports from all Fortuners so that we can, once again, bring home a wonderful story from there,” said Grace.
