The Granting of Fortune Group Scholarship 2015
M. Rizky Andika: “I want to save the money for pilot school”
On Friday afternoon (11/12), Fortune Group once more granted Fortune Group Scholarship 2015 to the children of nonstaff and outsourced Fortuners as a form of corporate social responsibility to Fortuners. This year, Fortune Group granted the Scholarship with the total amount of Rp27,000,000, to as many as 20 participants consisting of 10 participants from the elementary school category and 10 from junior and senior high school categories. The number is increased compared to that in 2014 which only involved a total of 13 participants. The corporation gave cash worth Rp3 million to the first best, Rp2.5 million to the second best, and Rp2 million to the third best for both categories.
The awardees that were judged on their academic and nonacademic achievement are greatly assisted by this Scholarship program. “I will use the money to fund my final exam preparatory course in grade 9,” said Adella R. Julia, Fadilah’s daughter, who won the 2nd place in junior high school category. Meanwhile, M. Rizky Andika, Sumaryono Eko’s son, who has won the first prize of Fortune Group Scholarship for two consecutive years and is an acceleration student, admitted he will save the money received for pilot school. Fortune Group also gave prizes of participation to all participants who had taken part, i.e. cash worth Rp860 thousand. “Last year my son could be the third best, but because there were more participants, he could only receive a scholarship of participation. It’s a great help for book purchases though,” said Anshori, one of the recipients of the scholarship of participation.
Hopefully, the grantees can be more motivated and continue to improve their academic achievement. See you in Fortune Group Scholarship 2016!
