The room Agus Salim 1 in Gedung Galaktika looked different on Monday, January 19, 2015. In order to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the room was decorated in such a way to be more festive with Christmas decorations having a predominantly red color. By late afternoon, one by one Christian Fortuners began to pack the room.

Suryani Hottaruli Sitanggang and Kristoforus Fajar Tri Hananto of Fortune PR were assigned to lead the Christmas service and celebration 2014 with the theme “Encounter God through Family” taken from Leviticus 26:12. The song “Joy to the world! The Lord has come, let earth receive her King!” sung together sounded so melodious as a sign that the service had already begun. Lucia Budiono opened the service with a story of her personal experience on gratitude of mankind and continued with the votum.

Hark the Herald Angels Sing was sung melodiously and solemnly by Sarma Dahita Silalahi of Fortune PR. Then it was time to pray together to initiate the sermon delivered by Rev. Binsar Pakpahan. The sermon advised every individual to be the light for others by sharing kindness at work and in family. Slowly the lights were dimmed and the video on Christmas reflection was screned. The sermon was closed by praying together while lighting candles and singing Silent Night.

Intercessory prayer was read by Muljadi Sulaeman as Director of Fortune Indonesia to end the Christmas celebration service of Fortune Group. This event was attended by Indra Abidin, Miranty Abidin, and Aris Boediharjo. In his speech, Aris advised all Fortuners who attended the event to maintain togetherness despite the differences. Fortune was compared to the Republic of Indonesia which consists of diverse ethnic, cultures, and beliefs yet still emphasizes harmony and alignment.

The whole event was ended with a meal and a group photo. In one corner of the room there was a photobooth equipped with ornaments in the background and properties that added to the excitement. Fortuners seemed enthusiastic to capture the moment of togetherness and warmth of Christmas this year.
