It Still Feels Just Like the First Time
Enjoying the Scenery at Tea Plantation that Would Never Be Disappointing
Finally, a number of Fortuners can ‘runaway’ from their work routine and typical air pollution in the capital city for a moment. After vacuum for a year, Fortune Group is finally able to reorganzing Fortune Gowes & Tea Walk 2012, a cycling and leisurely strolling along at Agro Gunung Mas Tourism, Puncak. The event was held on the weekend on December 15, 2012, and was attended by no less than fifty Fortuners. This event became increasingly lively since the Fortuners also brought along their family. Very exciting!
Although, they were stuck in traffic for an hour due to the open-close systemof the road to Puncak, their spirit to enjoy the mountain air was unabated. Arrived at 10 a.m. in Puncak area, the group that travelled with 1 bus and 5 cars was immediately divided into two groups. Gowes Group heading right away towards the cycling routes in Rindu Alam, while the Strolling Group drove to Gunung Mas tea plantation.
As expected, Puncak does not have the talent to disappoint anyone who visits it. Cool mountain air is never tired of greeting the people who have been too long breathing in the stuffy urban air. As far as the eye could see, only green panorama stretchesout along the horizon. Unsurprisingly, sweaty-cycling for two hours is still incapable to meet the excitement!
“Although this is the second time we cycling together in Rindu Alam, it still feels like the first time. It was nice to feel the fresh mountain air again after so long ‘got eaten’ by the hustle-bustle of the city,”said Karnadi, the project officer of the event who also joined the Gowes Group. “I get use to do cycling. But, who can resist doingcycling accompanied by beautiful natural scenery on either side?, The sensation is incredible,”said Adi, how he often called.
The similar sensation also felt by the Strolling Group in the tea plantation area. Blown with the scent of a mountain range, surrounded by the green tea leaves, as well as witnessing how the farmer picking out the tops of the tea leaves, had, indeed, becomes special experience for Reviana Eka Irjaningsih. As an accounting staff of Fortune Indonesia who is also one of the participants of the tea walking group, she was deeply glad to be able to experience this rare moment. “This is the first time I visited Gunung Mas tea plantation. People say that the view is indeed beautiful. But if you come and see it for yourself, it is much better and more fun. If only Jakarta also looks like this,” joked Revi.
Nurjanah was no less enthusiastic than Revi. It also was the first time for her, wife of Muhammad Fahmi, Messenger of Touchpoint, to set her foot in Gunung Mas. Nurjanah who came with her two children, Fahri Rizki (9) and Fina Aulia (6), also thanked for the organized event. “It is good that there is an event that is also open for the Fortuners’ family. The kids look so happy because it is the first time they went to the tea plantation. If we have not had joined this time, perhaps, they would never ever gone here,”said Nurjanah.
To complete the happiness of theFortuners, the committee had prepared a door prize with a cellphone as the main prize. The event was closed with having lunch together at the Tea Corner; whereas the dishes consist of warm timbel rice, pieces of anchovy, added with tempting spicy sauces.
“Next year, this event should be held again. We plan to take a much fartherand more challenging route. Just wait for the news. Hopefully, there will be more participants who joined the event. The more the merrier. The more solid we are,” said Adi.
