End of the Year Sweetest Gift for Fortune Indonesia
Achieved Two Bronze in Citra Pariwara 2012
One more sweet achievement is successfully obtained by Fortune Indonesia towards the end of the year. Advertising Services Company which works under the banner of Fortune Group has successfully won two bronze medals in Citra Pariwara 2012, the oldest national advertising award in the Asia Pacific region. In the awarding night which was held on November 30, 2012, at The Oval Epiwalk, Fortune also successfully became the finalist of the other four categories. Fortune has proved that it has defeated nearly 1000 works of 300 local companies to multinational corporations in the biggest advertising industry party this year. Salute!
Out of the 50 categories contested, Fortune sent eleven entries and successfully won two bronze in the General Category for Direct Promotion / Marketing and Creativity in Press Ads Category for Ambient Media (small scale). Again, the Fortuners should be proud of it since in this year Citra Pariwara, which has been conducted for 25th times, had very diverse participants. They are including the advertising agencies, designers, production houses, audio houses, in-house media promotions, illustrators, photographers, and others. The juries itself cannot be taken frivolously. Citra Pariwara brings dozens of important names in the advertising industry!
Passion Patrol as the team leader of Fortune for Citra Pariwara competition expressed their happiness for this achievement. Although the preparation was done coincided with Pinasthika Creativestival 2012, Citra Pariwara was indeed quite a challenge. A higher standard that has been set surely makes the participation entry of Citra Pariwara even more competitive. “A double entry is not allowed. So, we must have a strategy to join this event. The works submitted must be carefully selected in order to be effective and efficient,” said Lembu Wiworo Jati, creative director of Passion Patrol.
Lembu feels that their achievements in getting two bronze and four finalist positions can be considered to be quite exceeding the expectations, especially since there were so many other participants that came from a multinational level. “Their works are outstanding. As one of handful national agencies that were involved, Fortune’s achievements are very satisfying and gallant. We could be part of the multinational nominees who are, indeed, the ‘tigers’ of festivals,” he said.
Lembu hopes that, next year, there will new names that will add the ammunition of Passion Patrol, so that, the Fortune’s ‘bullets’ for the festivals will be a more proper target. “Hopefully, there will be more people who feel challenged to join and going up to the stage to receive the award. Next year will be harder because we have already got standards. We need the support of all parties,” said Lembu who were wearing Fortune’s red jacket that night.
With such achievements, Grace Surya’s dreams to bring home a good news from Citra Pariwara has been fulfilled. “The end of 2012 is the beginning of the booming of Fortune Indonesia. Our achievements prove that Fortune does not lose in competing with multinational agencies. We are 42 years young and still young,” said Grace, a marketing communications of Fortune Indonesia.
