Fortuners\u2019 Donation-Raising Action for Flood Victims in Jakarta<\/strong>
\n\"\"<\/a>Up to this day, the flood that hit Jakarta still consumes public attention in Indonesia. Flood has caused Jakarta city dwellers to lose possessions, homes, and not a few victims became ill. Help came from all walks of society to ease the burden of the victims. Not to forget the Fortune Group. Through the helping hands of Fortuners (the term for Fortune employees), Fortune participated in raising aid for those in need.
\nThe donation-raising action began on Thursday, January 10, 2013, with the initiative of the Fortune Corporate Secretary Indira Abidin and coordination of the Corporate Communications division. Via electronic mail, Fortuners were invited to collect relief items in a drop box that was placed by the stairs on the first floor of Fortune office, in Galaktika building.
\nFortuners\u2019 responses seemed to be very positive, as evidenced by the drop box that was filled immediately with relief items needed by flood victims such as rice, instant noodles, beverages, clothing, sanitary napkins, medicines, blankets, mats, and many more. The entire donation began to be distributed to two areas on Friday, January 11, 2013. They are Flood Post in Kebayoran Lama and the Common Post of Flood Relief 2013# BantuBanjir in Jatipadang.
\n\"\"<\/a>Kebayoran Lama Flood Post located in Community Unit (RW) 08, Pondok Pinang Village, was opened in January 15, 2013. The region has begun flooding since January 16, at dawn. At that time, the water level that reached 1.25 meters was inundating four neighborhood units (RT) along the river with a total of 160 family heads and 166 lives.
