Niko Radityo opens our eyes that there is a more\u00a0important measurement to note, that is Engagement and Perception. The two things are\u00a0becoming one of the challenges in the world of communications, especially Public\u00a0Relations in recent years. What efforts does Niko make to address these challenges?\u00a0Check out the interview to learn more.<br \/>\n<strong>When did you start joining Fortune PR? How did it happen?<\/strong><br \/>\nInitially, I worked in the media focusing on technology. Then, at that time I wanted to\u00a0learn more about technology business from a different perspective, namely\u00a0communications, and finally in 2012 I joined Fortune PR as PR Consultant.<br \/>\n<strong>What made you interested in plunging in the communications industry, especially\u00a0<\/strong><strong>PR?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe learning process. I learned a lot in Fortune PR, starting from designing strategies,\u00a0building relationships with the media, dealing with crises and many more.<br \/>\n<strong>In your opinion, what is the most interesting thing in your job?\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nI love it because every day we are struggling with activation projects and branding. It&#8217;s\u00a0very interesting for me because in activation we are required to always bring up unique\u00a0things. The most fundamental thing for every company is branding. Branding is very\u00a0complex, so challenging.<br \/>\n<strong>Any personal resolution to meet in 2017?<\/strong><br \/>\nMy resolution is simple, to build a permanent house for my family. And thank God, it\u00a0now has begun to happen.<br \/>\n<strong>What is your career resolution to be realized together with Fortune PR in 2017?<\/strong><br \/>\nTalking about career resolution with Fortune PR, I would like to add to the portfolio of\u00a0Fortune PR. This year&#8217;s target is to handle clients included in the top 100 best global\u00a0brands.<br \/>\n<strong>Which clients have you always wanted to handle but never realized yet?<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat Fortune PR and I have been dreaming of is to work with Intel. Everyone surely\u00a0knows Intel. That is also what I have personally been dreaming of. Besides Intel, I also\u00a0want to handle Facebook and Samsung. Hopefully, it can happen next time.<br \/>\n<strong>Success tips as an Associate Director?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe must always build our skills and knowledge. But as a team, I certainly should not\u00a0only think of myself, but Fortuners and I must develop the team.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4906\" src=\"https:\/\/foru.co.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/fotoniko2-300x225.jpg\" alt='fotoniko2' width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>The most memorable project you have ever handled in Fortune PR?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe most memorable one is with Oppo. It is so memorable because we built the Oppo\u00a0brand from scratch in Indonesia. And now we know for ourselves that Oppo is one of\u00a0the Top Brand smartphones in Indonesia. Although we do not handle it anymore,\u00a0obviously what we had done previously has contributed to Oppo&#8217;s success today. We\u00a0handledOppo for approximately 1.5 years. We set a base for the Oppo brand, starting\u00a0from the launching of three products, product reviews, influencer relations to media\u00a0relations.<br \/>\nWhat I remember the most is the first launch of Oppo; Fortuners and I really did a great\u00a0effort, since it was the grandest launching event we&#8217;ve ever made. We presented two\u00a0famous Indonesian celebrities, Dewi Sandra and Nicholas Saputra. We handled everything, the venue, production, media, and every other thing. And it became an\u00a0important assessment from Oppo to Fortune PR that they worked with us for 1.5 years.<br \/>\n<strong>3 reasons why you are willing to dedicate yourself in Fortune PR?<\/strong><br \/>\nMany clients in technology, so I enjoy it, it fits my interest, and we are given liberty to\u00a0grow and learn.<br \/>\n<strong>Looking back at the year 2015 to 2016, many companies were experiencing\u00a0economic problems, thereby reducing their promotion funds. How do you see the\u00a0<\/strong><strong>phenomenon this year?<a href=\"http:\/\/foru.co.id\/2013\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/fotoniko2.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nPR industry today actually stands to benefit from the condition where many companies\u00a0allocate their advertising money for activities focusing on brand and reputation building.\u00a0Now the assessment is no longer on exposure or view but engagement. Therefore, PR\u00a0Agencies are becoming more favored.<br \/>\n<strong>Are there any challenges in the communications world, especially PR in these\u00a0years? How do you work around this?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe challenge is how we provide services that are more strategic and integrated. In\u00a0addition, it is important for Communication Firm or Public Relations Agency, in\u00a0particular, to be able to provide a measurement that is able to show results of how much\u00a0society engagement is obtained as well as the growing perception in the community\u00a0about the programs. Then, put the high engagement as one of the objective\u00a0achievements of the clients.<br \/>\nTherefore, we need to create a campaign integrating the traditional PR, digital, Above\u00a0the Line and Below The Line. And most importantly, we should be able to provide a\u00a0precise measurement for the whole campaign. The second challenge is the clients&#8217;\u00a0budget that does not increase every year. So we should be able to make a more flexible\u00a0partnership scheme yet still profitable.<br \/>\n<strong>Messages to all Fortuners in the face of existing challenges?<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/foru.co.id\/2013\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/fotoniko3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4907 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/foru.co.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/fotoniko3-225x300.jpg\" alt='fotoniko3' width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Do not fear technology as if it is something difficult. Let&#8217;s further deepen these 3 things,\u00a0namely analyzing issues, problem-solving, and the impact measurement.<br \/>\n<strong>Hobbies aside from work?<\/strong><br \/>\nI am a fan of coffee. I enjoy drinking coffee, preparing coffee and fiddling around with\u00a0coffee either in cafes, coffee shops, and also at home. Indonesia has the best coffee,\u00a0but I haven&#8217;t been traveling for coffee, I bought coffee via e-commerce. I like Toraja and\u00a0Bali coffee. Sometimes if I want something unique, I like to drink Aceh Gayo coffee.<br \/>\nAlthough I enjoy coffee and fiddling around with coffee, I still feel far from being an\u00a0expert in the coffee world. So I do not dare to share much about coffee. Later on, when I\u00a0master all about coffee, I plan to make media such as blogs to share knowledge about\u00a0coffee. But it&#8217;s still the plan, I still have much to learn and explore.<br \/>\n<strong>How do you manage your time between work and family?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe important thing is to maintain communication at all time with my wife and other\u00a0family members. And do not forget to make the most of our time together.<br \/>\n<strong>Your Favorite activities to spend time with family?<\/strong><br \/>\nEating and drinking coffee. I like simple things. My wife is also an easygoing person.
